Reading Lab Reports: Understanding FECO Product Quality
Purpose of Lab Reports:
- Lab reports (Certificates of Analysis, or CoAs) show the levels of compounds in FECO and confirm safety.
Key Compounds in FECO:
- Cannabinoids: Include THC, CBD, and minor cannabinoids like CBG, CBC, and CBN.
- Terpenes: Work with cannabinoids to enhance effects. Common terpenes include beta-caryophyllene, limonene, and myrcene.
Cannabinoid and Terpene Levels:
- A good FECO product contains at least 55% total cannabinoids.
- Ideal terpene content ranges from 0.8% to 3%.
Optimal FECO Products:
- Look for FECO with a wide range of cannabinoids and terpenes.
- Products made from multiple Indica strains may offer better therapeutic effects.
Safety Testing:
- FECO should be tested for residual solvents, pesticides, bacteria, fungi, and heavy metals to ensure safety.
