How To Make FECO: Pre-made Tincture Evaporation
This process already has the cannabis-alcohol solution mixed and filtered. The video visually demonstrates the evaporating off of the FECO.
NOTE: During boiling, make sure you are in a well-ventilated area. There must be no open flames. It is ideal to evaporate ethanol off outside if possible.

Materials Needed
- Pre-made tincture
- Metal pan
- Hot plate
- Oral syringe
- Measuring cup
- Spatula
Step by Step Process
Step 1
Put the pan on the hot plate, then pour the tincture (1 cup worth) into the measuring cup and into the pan.
Step 2
Turn on the hot plate. If it has a temperature setting, putting it to 190F is ideal. Otherwise, you can use a medium setting which is generally suitable. Once the solution reaches 170F, it will start to boil. If the solutions seems to be boiling too aggressively, turn down the heat .
Step 3
Once the bubbles are gone, the ethanol is mostly evaporated. The FECO can then be scraped into the corner and pulled up into the oral syringe.
